Hi, I think I might have accidently deleted some files from windows 95, and now whenever I turn on my computer, it says that it cannot load windows because it is missing a system.ini file. Once it gives me this message it shuts down. I can't boot up to windows. I found a way to boot into dos, by pressing alt F8, when the computer is booting up, but I don't know how to restore the file. I also think that I might have cleared the contents of the recycle bin, the last time I was able to get into windows, because I didn't know that I was deleting a important file. Anyways I have the cd rom for windows 95, but not the floppy disk. Another thing is that I don't want to format my hard drive, so if there is a way to restore this file without formatting my hard drive please let me know. Also I don't know where I can get a boot disk from, and I also need to know if I have to format my hard drive, how I can make backup copies of all my files from dos!!!!!!!!!!!!
